About Cyber Nate
A Lagos-based cybersecurity company — built from inside Nigerian institutions, not adapted from elsewhere.
Cyber Nate delivers cybersecurity, DFIR, threat intelligence, secure software, and professional training for businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions across Nigeria.
From classroom to operations
to company.
Cyber Nate started in 2022 as a Lagos-based IT support and cybersecurity consultancy — one analyst, a clear focus, and frustration at how Nigerian businesses and institutions were being underserved by technology providers who didn't understand their operational reality.
The scope expanded as the problems did. Schools needed management systems. Agency officers needed a promotion exam platform that didn't exist. A government command needed 485 officer records digitised across 26 operational sections. A health startup needed NDPA-compliant security documentation. Each problem became a solution.
Today, Cyber Nate has evolved into a cybersecurity-first technology company — delivering security operations, threat intelligence, DFIR services, secure software, cybersecurity education, and digital transformation solutions for organisations across Nigeria. Two live products, an active training academy, published threat intelligence, a national cyber defence framework proposal, and a growing community of Nigerian security professionals. The edge that hasn't changed: our founder still works inside FGLEA every day and operates as an active SOC analyst. That operational context shapes everything we build.

Intelligence & research
Cyber Nate regularly publishes threat intelligence reports, OSINT investigations, DFIR case studies, and security research covering cybercrime, identity attacks, malware campaigns, and digital investigations relevant to Nigeria and beyond — from the MutaCryptor scam network report submitted to the EFCC, to Active Directory compromise analysis and phishing investigations published to our portfolio.
8-phase MITRE ATT&CK-mapped investigation into a coordinated internship fraud network — 18+ IOCs, 3 Bitcoin wallets tracked, submitted to the EFCC and published to the ICDFA repository.

Trusted collaborations
Core values
Security first
Every platform and recommendation is built with security as a baseline. We build what we would trust with our own data.
Built for Nigeria
Not adapted from abroad — designed for how Nigerian institutions actually operate. Currency, regulation, bandwidth, and context all matter.
Accountability in writing
Scope, timeline, and deliverables in writing before work starts. No surprises. Clients always know what they're getting.
Practitioner-led
Our founder is an active SOC analyst and law enforcement intelligence officer — not someone who read about these problems. That shapes everything.
